RANGE OFFICERS 2011
Range Officers will be on the ranges (Archery, rifle, and pistol) at various times. Please have your membership card with you at all times when on the ranges. A Range Officer at any time may ask to see your membership card this is for the members benefit, because of insurance non-members are not allowed (unless they are a onetime guest of a member) on any of the ranges. Range Officers also look for safety problems and any FF&G rule violations. They will be identified with the hat they will be wearing stating RANGE OFFICER FARMINGTON FISH & GAME. This is your club, please cooperate with them. Names and pictures of all Range Officers will soon be posted on the club website and the clubs face book page.
NOTE
In order to have a viable, active club we need people to step up and fill the positions. Without volunteers the club cannot exist. We have over one thousand members. Why is it the same 12-15 people doing the work to try and keep the club going. Check the clubs Face book page to see if volunteers are needed.
This has been a difficult year for our Annual Game Dinner. It is the first time since it began that it has not sold out. Meat donations are down because people were not able to go on hunts. Costs of purchasing game have risen considerably. Some vendors have gone out of business and others had to be found if possible. Donations are down. Many of the factors are due to the economy. We would like to thanks those who have donated. We appreciate what you been able to give.
We no longer have a newspaper due to the lack of response for articles ect. We are going to try a Newsletter such as this one twice a year.
Let’s keep this Club going another 73 years.
