- You must be at least 21 years of age to shoot a handgun w/o parent or guardian.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to shoot long gun w/o parent or guardian
- Keep all firearms pointed down range at all times
- Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot
- Firearms are not to be left loaded and unattended on the range
- Always keep the action open and firearms with magazines removed until ready to fire
- Understand the operating mechanism and safety features of your firearm
- Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times
- Never handle load or unload a firearm behind the firing line
- All loading/unloading procedures should be conducted in your lane
- Upon the command "cease fire" stop all shooting immediately and back away from the firing lane until the problem is fixed
- No alcohol permitted on ranges or club premises at any time
- No fully automatic weapons allowed
- Do not exchange firearms with another lane, switch shooters, not guns
- Shotguns are currently slug only, full choke turkey guns are allowed with prior notice
- No steel core ammunition
- A maximum of 1 shooter per lane is permitted
- Entrance to ranges are through the side door only and not by entering through the front of the range buildings
- No child shall be left unattended on the range or club premises at any time,
- Club members are allowed 1 guest one time only, if the guest wants to return he/she will be required to join
- Junior members must have an adult or parent with them at any ranges on club property
- Be courteous to others and remember there is a time limit of 1 hour if another member is waiting to use the range
- It is incumbent upon all shooters to act responsibly. If you observe an unsafe condition, stop it immediately
- As a member you may ask any other person present if they are a member, and ask to see their membership card. If they refuse call the new durham police dept. 859-2752
- Membership cards must be carried at all times
